    1. Email confirmation

Confirm your email address. Google and Apple sign-ups verify email automatically.

    2. Mobile verification

6-digit code via WhatsApp. SMS or voice call fallback.

    3. Profile details

Add your full name and address before messaging hosts or requesting a booking.

    4. No ID upload

Show your ID in person at check-in or handover if your host asks.

    Your privacy is important

Tomove never stores copies of your identity documents or selfies. Verification is securely handled by Stripe and Didit. Your phone number and private details aren't shown to other users.

    Common questions

Who has to verify on Tomove?
Everyone confirms their email and mobile number and adds their name and address. Hosts are verified again before they're paid: by Stripe for Pay-as-you-go, by Didit for Membership.
Do guests need to upload ID?
No. Your host may ask to see ID at check-in or handover, to confirm it matches the name on the booking.
    Is my phone number shared?
No. It's only used to verify your account and, if you choose, to send you booking notifications.
Who sees my ID documents, and are they stored?
ID checks are handled by Stripe (Pay-as-you-go) or Didit (Membership). Tomove doesn't keep copies of your documents, and they're never made available to other guests or hosts.
    What if a check fails?
For phone codes, request a new one or switch to SMS or a call. For Membership ID checks, try again with clearer photos or a different document. For Stripe, follow the steps in your Stripe dashboard. Still stuck? Contact support.
